Acadian Flycatcher

Acadian flycatchers were found throughout Mississippi, except in the six coastal counties.

This species is usually found in Mississippi in wooden stands of trees that have reached a height of at least 30 feet. Preferred habitat would be an old growth forest along a river or marsh.

Often found with wood thrush, eastern wood pewee, and yellow-throated vireo.
