American Robin

American robins were found breeding across the state. However, they are not particularly common breeders. In Mississippi, they like park-like conditions. One pair might be found in a block, the only nest in an old oak in the yard of a country church. Robins are easy to spot and easy to confirm, since they are often seen carrying food for young or nesting materials.
