Northern Parula Warbler

Northern parula warblers could be found in several habitats. They were located along rivers and lakes, as well as bayous. They were also located in the DLO habitat known for its loess hills.

Confirmations are difficult on this species, partly because most of the identifications come from hearing parulas singing. Receiving even a glimpse of this species in the thick growth of Mississippi is just luck. Probable status is possible if this species can be placed on territory.
