Worm-eating Warbler

A pocket of breeding worm-eating warblers was found in the southwest corner of the state around Natchez.

This species likes forested hillsides above a water source. The best way to find this bird is by call. The worm-eating song can be mixed up with a chipping sparrow heard at a distance.
